About KCCAT
What is Knox County Coalition Against Tobacco?

Knox County Coalition Against Tobacco (KCCAT) is a community/school partnership formed to address chronic diseases plaguing the people of Knox County. We help people make healthy lifestyle changes to prevent the onset of chronic disease through awareness, education, advocacy, policy changes and services. It is our goal to help the people of Knox County become as healthy as they want to be.

To accomplish this task we offer information and free tobacco cessation courses, youth programs, physical activity opportunities and nutrition education to community members and businesses. We work under the guidance of the Maine Department of Human Services Healthy Maine Partnerships to insure quality and effective assistance.
